How to Use Our Website

Anyone can purchase from Dandenong Wheels & Castors. You do not need an account to browse, request quotes, or place standard orders. That said, our website includes several tools designed to make ordering faster, more flexible, and more cost‑effective, especially for trade and long‑term customers.

This page explains how the site works and how to get the most out of it.


Navigating the Website

Header & Menu Structure

Our main navigation is deliberately comprehensive.

  • Product categories are grouped by Castors, Wheels, Accessories, Levelling Feet & Inserts, Industrial Products, and Sliding Track.

  • Clearance items are always accessible via the Clearance button on the right‑hand side of the header.

  • The search bar supports full product searches across part numbers, categories, and accessories.

If you know what you’re looking for, search is the fastest route. If not, the menu structure is designed to narrow options logically.


Requesting a Quote

Quoting is a core feature of our site and is available to all customers.

Quote Button

On every page, you’ll see a rounded “Quote” button in the bottom‑right corner of the screen.

  • This opens your quote request panel.

  • Consider it to be a live quote list rather than a shopping cart.

Adding Products to a Quote

  • Every product page includes an “Add to quote” button.

  • Any product can be added — there are no restrictions.

  • Once added, products appear inside your quote panel.

Why Prices Are Hidden in Quotes

When products are added to a quote, pricing is intentionally not displayed.

This is because quotes are generally requested when:

  • Volume pricing is required

  • Trade discounts apply

  • Custom quantities or configurations are involved

Quotes assume customers are seeking approved pricing, not standard retail pricing.

Submitting a Quote

  • Quantities can be adjusted before submission

  • Logged‑in customers will see their details pre‑filled

  • Guest customers simply enter basic contact and delivery details

Once submitted, our team reviews the request and responds with an approved quote.

Viewing Your Quotes

When you submit a quote, it is assigned to the email address provided. This means that if you are not logged in or have not used us before, you can easily sign in or up and view your quotes. 

To view your quotes; select the account icon in the top right as highlighted below:

Then select "Your Quotes":


Trade Customers & Trade Pricing

Trade Customer Prompt

All visitors will see an “Are you a trade customer?” prompt when browsing the site.

  • This links directly to our Trade Application page

  • Closing the popup does not revoke access

Persistent Trade Access

If you dismiss the popup, you can still access trade applications anytime via the Trade Customers tab fixed to the left‑hand side of the screen.

This tab remains visible on all pages.


Applying for a Trade Account

Trade accounts unlock trade‑level pricing online — the same pricing traditionally offered over the phone or in‑store.

To apply, complete the Trade Application Form.

Once approved:

  • Your online account is assigned trade pricing

  • Trade prices appear automatically when logged in

  • Quotes and checkout reflect your approved rates

Trade pricing approval is subject to review and is typically intended for:

  • Regular purchasers

  • Commercial and industrial customers

  • Long‑term account holders


30‑Day Credit Accounts (Net 30)

We offer 30‑day credit accounts to select approved trade customers.

Important notes:

  • Credit accounts are not automatic

  • Customers must contact our team to apply

  • Approval is assessed separately from trade pricing

Once approved:

  • Credit permissions are assigned to your online account

  • Checkout includes a Net 30 option alongside standard payment methods

This option is only visible to approved customers and cannot be selected without prior authorisation.


Standard Purchasing (No Account Required)

Customers who do not require trade pricing or quotes can:

  • Add items to cart

  • Checkout using standard payment gateways

  • Arrange delivery or pickup as normal

No account or application is required for standard purchases.
