Delivery Policy

Dandenong Wheels & Castors endeavour to ship all orders within 24 hours from receipt of payment. If the product you are ordering is not in stock, is waiting for additional parts, requires assembly or configuration or is not being shipped to a metropolitan area of Australia - it may take up to, or in excess of 5 days to ship. In the event that we cannot deliver the product in a reasonable time in full, we will contact you and offer a full refund. Dandenong Wheels & Castors is not liable for late delivery of your order and is not able to guarantee the delivery services of third party carriers. Flat rate shipping does not apply to areas outside metropolitan cities within Australia. If you are unsure please contact us to obtain a quote for your area. We cannot ship outside Australia at this stage. Some of our products are “big and bulky” and may require special handling equipment to take delivery. We will contact you before shipping such orders to ensure suitability. If we are arranging delivery to a private address, please ensure someone will be home to accept the order, alternately you can give us authority to “leave the goods at premises” - No responsibility will be taken for “goods authorised to be left at premises”.


Refund Policy

Dandenong Wheels & Castors want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your product and our service. If you would like to arrange to return a product please be aware of the following:

If you have ordered the wrong product or changed your mind, you can arrange to return it within 7 days after you received it. The product must be unused, unmodified and in a re-saleable condition (where possible in the original packaging). You are responsible to arrange the return to us and cover the cost involved. We have the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 25% (this is to our discretion).

If a product is found to be faulty, either upon arrival or within the warranty period for the product, you can arrange to return it within 7 days from arrival or from when the fault was first noticed. Please contact us to arrange for the return of any product you believe is faulty before the product is returned. Returns must include all documentation, accessories and parts. The product being returned will be assessed by Dandenong Wheels & Castors and if a fault is confirmed then a replacement product will be provided as soon as possible. If the products is found to be free of faults, then the cost of the return and re-delivery will be charged to you.

No other returns will be excepted except where required by law.

Warranties

Dandenong Wheels & Castors relies on the warranties and guarantees provided by the manufacturer or supplier of the product to us. These warranties and guarantees may contain certain requirements that Dandenong Wheels & Castors will be bound by in considering whether a product is deemed to be faulty or able to be returned for exchange or refund. Dandenong Wheels and Castors will rely on these requirements so far as they are allowed for by law.

In general terms, unless otherwise determined by the supplier of the product to Dandenong Wheels & Castors, the products you purchase will have a 12 month warranty from date of purchase. Valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. The warranty covers manufacturing faults, but does not cover change of mind or damage, fault or failure due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, or normal wear and tear. Any unauthorised repairs, alterations or modifications, or any attempt to open or dismantle the product will render the warranty void.

The defective product, together with valid proof of purchase, should be returned to the place of purchase or shipped directly to Dandenong Wheels & Castors. Contact us to arrange authorisation before arranging any returns.

Dandenong Wheels & Castors or the supplier of the product will determine at no cost to you the cause of the fault (if any) within a reasonable time frame. Any repaired or replaced product will be sent back to you with freight pre-paid. If a major fault is determined we will offer to replace or refund as required by law.

The products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the product repaired or replaced if the product fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. A product presented for repair may be replaced by a refurbished product of the same type rather than being repaired.
